HCMC: 31% of Teachers Have English Below B1

A recent survey by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education
Among the most reliable data, 31% of teachers had English levels below B1. About 41% reached B1, and 28% reached B2 or higher. At the high school level, 45% had B2 or C1. However, no teachers reached C2, the highest level.
There was a big gap between English teachers and other subject teachers. While 8% of English teachers reached C2 and 45% reached C1, no other teachers reached C2, and only 2% reached C1.
