There are a handful of places that I can think of, but I'd like to describe the small pagoda garden

behind the main temple in my neighborhood. To tell you a little bit about it, it’s located at the back of the larger, more frequented temple, . If my memory serves my right, I discovered it quite by accident, while exploring the temple grounds one afternoon. I had initially gone to the main temple to light incense, but I noticed a small, unassuming pathway leading to a quieter area. Curiosity drew me in, and I found this . It's been 3 months since I discovered this place, and ever since, I've made it a routine to go there at least once a week, usually on a weekday afternoon when it’s less crowded. Sometimes I go more often if I need a moment of peace.

When I’m there, I usually find a quiet spot on one of the wooden benches under the shade of the old frangipani trees. I might read a book, meditate, or simply sit and observe the

. I enjoy watching the koi fish swimming in the small pond, listening to the , and sometimes, if I’m lucky, I hear the soft chanting from inside the temple. It's a place where I can truly disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with myself.

Now, to tell you how I feel about it, I feel an overwhelming sense of peace and serenity in this garden. It's a

of city life. The main reason for this is that the combination of the lush greenery, the gentle sounds of nature, and the creates a truly calming and .
