The outdoor sport that comes to mind is beach volleyball, something I’ve always wanted to try because it looks like such a fun and lively challenge.

To tell you a little bit about what it is, beach volleyball is a team sport played on sand, usually with two players per side, where you hit a ball over a net, aiming to score points by making it touch the ground on the opponent’s side. It’s fast-paced, with lots of diving and jumping, and it’s

. As for when and where I’d like to do it, I’m thinking next summer, maybe July 2026, at Vung Tau Beach, a popular coastal spot in southern Vietnam, just a two-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City. It’s got soft sand and plenty of open space, perfect for a beginner like me to give it a go. When it comes to who I’d like to do it with, I’d love to play with my university friends, especially my buddy Tuan, who’s super sporty and would probably . We’d have a blast cheering each other on and probably laughing at our rookie mistakes.

Now, why would I like to do it? Honestly, it’s like the perfect mix of fun, fitness, and beach vibes that just calls my name. I’ve watched beach volleyball matches on TV, like during the Olympics, and the energy of players diving into the sand and spiking the ball is so

—it’s like a party with a purpose. I’m not the most coordinated person, so learning to serve and pass would be a challenge, but I think it’d feel amazing to nail a good play, you know? Playing on Vung Tau Beach, with the sun shining and waves crashing, sounds like the ideal way to . I also love the idea of teamwork—coordinating with Tuan and our friends would make it , like building a little tribe through sweat and laughter.
