The time that comes to mind is when I saw a group of kids misbehaving at a busy mall in Ho Chi Minh City, and it was

To tell you a little bit about where it was, it was at Vincom Center, a popular shopping mall in District 1. I was there just last month, on a weekend afternoon, doing some holiday shopping. As for what the children were doing, there were three kids, probably around 7 to 10 years old,

near the escalators. They were shouting, pushing each other, and throwing food wrappers on the floor. One of them even climbed onto a bench and started jumping, nearly . Their parents seemed distracted, chatting nearby without paying much attention.

When it comes to how others reacted, most people looked annoyed but didn’t say anything—shoppers

, and a security guard eventually approached to ask the kids to calm down, but the parents just and told them to “be good” . A few customers , and one elderly lady shook her head as she walked past. Now, how did I feel about it? Honestly, it was frustrating and a bit disappointing, like in a public space. I felt bad for the staff who had to clean up the mess and for other shoppers trying to enjoy their day. It made me think about how important it is for parents to , because those kids were clearly . At the same time, I remembered being a kid and acting out sometimes, so I tried not to judge too harshly—kids will be kids, but guidance matters.
